High-functioning on the outside:

  • respected
  • experienced

Honest about the inside:

  • moments of doubt
  • pressure
  • overthinking
  • internal shifts

Your story might include:

  • A deal you won after changing how you approached it
  • A breakthrough after struggling with confidence, fear, or inconsistency
  • A shift in mindset that changed how you show up with customers
  • A moment where things “clicked” and results followed
  • A time where thinking differently led to better outcome

 

If your thinking changed first and the results followed, that’s the story.

 

Submission Guidelines

To keep the book consistent and impactful, please follow this structure:

 

Length:

  • 1200 to 2000 words
  • Clear, concise, and focused on one specific experience

 

Structure:

Please organize your story using this flow:

  1. The Situation
    What was happening? What challenge, deal, or situation were you facing?
  2. The Internal Shift
    What changed in your thinking, belief, or mindset?
  3. The Action
    What did you do differently as a result of that shift?
  4. The Outcome
    What happened? (Be specific — results, deals, revenue, or impact)
  5. The Lesson
    What would you want another seller to take away from this experience?

 

Tone & Style:

  • Write in your own voice
  • Be honest and specific
  • Avoid jargon or theory
  • Focus on what actually happened
